- Decide Whether to Stay Hidden or Not. If you’re looking for a cheating partner or checking for a catfish, chances are they wouldn’t want to be found. They could simply hide their profile or leave the app completely if they find you before you find them.

- The “My Matches” Search. If you click on the POF logo on the top left of your screen, you can activate “my matches.” This will keep matching you with suitable profiles over time.
- Activate “My City” If you’re not having much luck finding someone on POF, you can activate the “my city” option in your location settings. It will narrow your search down a bit.
To find mobile users near you: Log in to the app; Tap on Mobile Users; These users are online and accessing the site via the iPhone or Android app; To search: If you have GPS enabled, we will use your current location. If not, we will use your zip or postal code. Your exact location will not be revealed to other POF users.
