The largest island is Sand Island, which has housing and an airstrip. Immediately to the east of Sand Island across the narrow Brooks Channel is Eastern Island, which is uninhabited and no longer has any facilities.

Sep 21, 2014 · Plus, it has some of the most beautiful coral sand beaches and crystal clear water that I have ever seen. Certainly not 5 star but was never intended to be. If you are looking for a place to take a break from the rat race and do a little good work in conservation and eco-tourism, this place should be on your list to check out.
