Here’s how Selfie Verification works: Head to your profile, under My Account tap Manage Account. You’ll see an option to verify your profile, once you hit the verify option you’ll be brought to the verification homepage.

I tried but POF will reject all non-carrier number for verification which means if your number is a googlevoice, textnow number etc. it will just not accept it. It needs a carrier provided phone number for verification. Even a burner phone number will do.
