A lot of you probably know this already, but unfortunately POF is filled with scammers. Most recently, I (63F) matched with a guy who claimed to be a pilot working for Turkish Airlines. For those who have not been made aware as of January 22nd, POF and MeetMe will be 2 seperate streaming platforms and will no longer have joined streams. Meaning that if you are on MeetMe and you have a favorite streamer on POF, you will no longer be able to see the POF user's stream on the MeetMe site, you would need to make a POF account to see.
POF, and to a larger extent, online dating, has outlived it's usefulness and it's life. It's used to be a niche thing for that kind of person to take advantage of. Ever since the commercialization of the internet and social media, though, it's basically facebook lite with strangers. Most of the girls on POF have been on there for years.
As the post title says, have there been any good dates that resulted from POF? I ask because it seems almost all negative. Even myself, I had 2 women try and scam me within a week. One post recently where she was harassed and tracked down on facebook.
