- Overall a good school. The tuition isn't as bad as other schools and the views from campus are really nice. Small classroom sizes are great for good dialogue between faculty and students. Campus food is pretty expensive but there are some nice local spots around. Personally I haven't had any bad experiences yet and recommend checking it out.

Mar 9, 2024 · This school is awful. It's trading on International Students, actively recruiting them and telling them that even with low English or low grades you can succeed here. But without speaking English it's too hard. They have some good teachers, but many are sessionals and not hired permanently.
I attended tru for a few years. The campus life isn't as active as other universities as it's more of a commuter school and campus housing is largely international students. Tru has a great study abroad and exchange program anyhow and if you're an avid skier then I think you would like it.

The only reason I enjoy the location, is because the school is in BC which allows for some great skiing and outdoors nearby.
The student-to-faculty ratio is good; usually, there will be almost 20-30 students in a class, and most of the professors are qualified as well. It is cheaper than most Canadian major universities, but it still offers a lot of programs and activities.
