Mar 9, 2024 · Review Thompson Rivers University. Fairly expensive for the rooms you get, especially in the older dorms, amenities are ok. Very convenient to school activities, classes, transportation. They take pride in the sports teams, but there is not an equal number of female sports to male sports.
The problem with TRU-OL is that you can't choose your teachers. I had a horrible teacher for first year biology, named Percy Hebert. I'm sure you can find threads about him. Anyway, TRU won't fire him, yet they won't let you pick your teachers. So when I signed up for part II of first year bio, I got him again.
