Unlike a lot of movies based on books, it's pretty true to the book and is actually very good. EDIT: I stand corrected, it isn't that true to the book. It's still really good.

Apr 5, 2020 · ‘Watership Down’ is still an exquisitely beautiful story and the writing remains impeccable. The book, frankly, shouldn’t exist. It’s a story about bunnies which puts it firmly in the ‘for children’ category, and yet the writing is unmistakably for adults.
