Jindřichův Hradec ([ˈjɪndr̝ɪxuːf ˈɦradɛts] ⓘ; German: Neuhaus) is a town in the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 21,000 inhabitants. The historic town centre is well preserved and is protected by law as an urban monument reservation.

V těsné blízkosti historického jádra Jindřichova Hradce, které je městskou památkovou rezervací, se nachází rybník Vajgar o rozloze 49 ha.
Jindřichův Hradec je hrad přestavěný na zámek ve stejnojmenném městě v Jihočeském kraji. Nachází se na soutoku Nežárky a Hamerského potoka. Se svou rozlohou tří a půl hektaru [1] je po Pražském hradu a zámku v Českém Krumlově třetím největším zámeckým komplexem České republiky. [2]
The historic centre of Jindřichův Hradec is formed by the Míru Square with adjacent streets and the castle. The landmarks of the square are the former Gothic town hall, rebuilt several times; and Langer's house, originally a Gothic building, later rebuilt in the Renaissance style.
