King of the Hill is an American animated sitcom created by Mike Judge and Greg Daniels. - Main Characters. Henry "Hank" Rutherford Hill is a tall, strict, and serious father and husband. He frequently boasts his selling of "propane and propane accessories" and is a proud worker for Strickland Propane.
- Other Hill, Platter and Kleinschmidt relatives. Ladybird Hill is the Hill's 13-year old purebred bloodhound. She is seen most of the time as sleepy and tired, although in "Pregnant Paws", she is seen in flashbacks as a very active and playful puppy.
- Gribble Family. Nancy Hicks-Gribble is a wife and mother who commonly addresses people as "sug", which is presumably short for "sugar". She had a 14-year affair with John Redcorn, which resulted in Joseph's birth, but decided to stop the affair in "Nancy's Boys".
- Boomhauer Family. Patch Boomhauer is Jeff Boomhauer's sleazy, womanizing younger brother. Dr. and Mrs. Boomhauer is Jeff Boomhauer's parents. Mrs. Boomhauer is shown to speak like Boomhauer in "Peggy's Turtle Song".
- Mike Judge - Hank Hill / Boomhauer. Mike Judge himself voices Hank on King Of The Hill, a man who defines himself by his job as a propane salesman. Hill is old-fashioned to a fault, and much of the humor of the series is derived from how out of touch he is with the modern world.
- Kathy Najimy - Peggy Hill. Hocus Pocus star Kathy Najimy voices Peggy on King Of The Hill, Hank's wife and Bobby's mother. Peggy is a Spanish teacher despite being terrible with the language and a running gag involves her shame with her size 16 feet.
- Pamela Adlon - Bobby Hill. Better Things' Pamela Adlon voices Hank's lazy, oddball son Bobby. A big theme on the show is Hank's disconnection from Bobby, with the two having completely different personalities and ways of thinking.
- Brittany Murphy - Luanne Platter. The late Brittany Murphy voiced Luanne on King of The Hill, Peggy's niece who comes to live with the family after her parent's break-up.
- Mike Judge. Creator Mike Judge took the mic to voice Hank Hill, also lending his vocals to Boomhauer and Stuart Dooley, among other characters.
- Kathy Najimy. Sister Act and Hocus Pocus star Kathy Najimy spent more than a decade on King of the Hill, voicing Hank's wife, Peggy Hill.
- Pamela Adlon. Years before she was Better Things' Sam Fox, Pamela Adlon was King of the Hill's Bobby Hill, a role she took on after lending her vocals to Recess as Spinelli.
