   • In Hardy 2-over-1, this shows four spades and any strength. In Lawrence style, it also promises extra values. Spade fits will seldom be lost after other rebids, though, as responder will show a 4-card spade suit if he has one. Opener's jump-shift (1S-2C- 3D or 3H ). There's no "standard" definition for these rebids in 2-over-1.
