Cohen, 49, has served as CWA organizing director and assistant to CWA President Morton Bahr since 1986. He succeeds M.E. Nichols, who retired after serving in that position for 18 years.

This is the tenth year I have been honored every day to serve as President of our union. I am proud of all of you and the work we have done together for decades.
