Tradition. In the heart of the Eola-Amity Hills, our Lingua Franca Estate vines thrive in dry-farmed Jory, Gelderman, and silty Nekia soils, expressing bold tension and character. With minimal intervention in the cellar, Winemaker Thomas Savre crafts these stunning wines to reflect their unique terroir while embodying purity and grace.
MEET THE Team. Team. Lingua Franca was co-founded by Larry Stone, David Honig, and Dominique Lafon in 2015, inspired by the exceptional vineyard site in the Eola-Amity Hills that Larry bought in 2012. They soon hired Thomas Savre, a brilliant young winemaker with work experience at some of the best domaines in Burgundy and an inquisitive mind.
Lingua Franca is dedicated to making wines that express the exceptional terroir of Lingua Franca Estate and the eastern slopes of the Eola-Amity Hills.
