General Information. Annually, the Auditor accounts for each levy in Lucas County, creates the tax duplicate, then, after authorization from Ohio Department of Tax Equalization, forwards data to the Lucas County Treasurer. The Treasurer sends the bills and collects taxes based on the duplicate.
