Margaret of Pomerania was born in 1230. She was the daughter of Sambar von Kassuben, Duke of Kassuben. She married Christopher I Valdemarsson, King of Denmark, son of Valdemar II 'the Victorious' Valdemarsson, King of Denmark and Berengaria de Portugal, in 1248. She died in 1282.
