Maryana Iskander (/ ˌ m ær i ˈ æ n ə ɪ ˈ s k æ n d ər / MARR-ee-AN-ə isk-AN-dər; Arabic: ماريانا إسكندر; born September 1, 1975) is an Egyptian-born American social entrepreneur and lawyer. In 2022, she became the chief executive officer (CEO) of the Wikimedia Foundation, succeeding Katherine Maher.
