  3. People that live on those sites only ever see the nasty shit people post, because the vast majority of us watch a video, maybe give a thumbs up, and move on. All the really asinine people feel a need to leave bad comments. It really is unfair to lump everyone who likes video games into that category.

A version for comics would be cool too, since I'm just starting to get into them but the presence of comics online seems tiny compared to games, movies, and TV. 11 years ago.

People rant and rave about fanboys and even write articles about the subject (obviously), but without fanboys most of these sites wouldn't be enjoying the bountiful harvest, nor (especially N4G) benefit immensely from the driving of hit counters, ad hits, and digg traffic, etc.. to their sites.
