The OECD is a forum for data and analysis, exchange of experiences, best-practice sharing, and advice on public policies and international standard-setting. It works with governments, policy makers and citizens to shape policies that foster prosperity, equality, opportunity and well-being for all.
The OECD Economic Outlook provides analysis and GDP growth forecasts for all G20 countries and the world economy as a whole. Published in March and September, these Interim reports provide updates to the projections, analysis and policy recommendations contained in the main Economic Outlooks released in May/June and November/December.
The OECD projects global growth to slow to 2.9% in 2024 and then pick up to 3% in 2025, as inflation declines towards target in most countries. The report also examines the challenges and policy actions for fiscal sustainability, productivity growth and education.
