The Passing of the Great Race: Or, The Racial Basis of European History is a 1916 racist and pseudoscientific [1] [2] book by American lawyer, anthropologist, and proponent of eugenics Madison Grant (1865–1937).

The book influenced eugenics movements in the US and Nazi Germany and drew from earlier works by Gobineau, Chamberlain, and Ripley.
