Apr 21, 2022 · When I click on "Verify account" button, it opens a popup window saying "Just a moment" for half a second, which closes without taking me anywhere. When I Go to Windows Settings -> Accounts -> Your info, it looks normal without any account verification requested.

When you sign in to your Microsoft account, we may ask for additional proof that it's really you.
Pick any of the email addresses or phone numbers you have on your account, and we'll send you a verification code. Once you've received the code, enter it wherever you are trying to sign in.
You can add up to 10 different ways to verify your account, and you can use any email address or phone number. It doesn't have to be yours - you just need to be able to access it if you want to use it to verify your account.

1.Sign in to the Advanced security options page of your Microsoft Account.
2.Select Add a new way to sign in or verify then choose how you would like to receive security codes.
3.We'll send a security code to the new number or email to confirm. Enter that code when prompted and then select Next.
4.That's it! Next time you need a sign-in verification code, you will see the new option listed.
Important:
