   Should I buy a Ryzen CPU?

   • Buying any Ryzen CPUs ATM is simply a bad choice. Intel offers the same performance and cheaper prices (12400 and 5600x) or better performance and cheaper prices (12700K beating 5900x while at a lower price for example). You can upgrade ur 12th gen cpu on the future if you want (to 13th gen) while keeping the mobo.

   Will Ryzen be as good as Intel at gaming?

   • Optimization slowly becoming better, maybe someday Ryzen will be as good as Intel at gaming. I tried to be as neutral as possible but It's hard when you're dealing with monopolies, I don't blame Intel for all of this as AMD would've probably done the same if given the change. That's how capitalism works.

   • Very brief TL;DR of Intel vs AMD (Ryzen). Intel: Very fast cores, expensive. AMD: Not as fast cores, more cores, not as expensive. Problem is, fast cores vs more cores is a debate heavily dependent on the specific application that's running and how well it's coded. We've also hit a point where fast cores just doesn't really matter all that much.

   • I would say Ryzen if you're only using your PC for gaming and Intel if you use it universally. But if you compare the 12900k with 5950X, the Ryzen is being killed by Intel i9. why ryzen for gaming tho? intel s doin better in games most games isnt it?
