In the biblical account, one of the women named Salome found peace and wholeness in following Jesus as her Messiah and Savior, while the other brought about destruction and death by seeking peace through political intrigue.
Salome is the daughter of Herodias, the wife of King Herod. She is unnamed in the biblical text but named by Josephus in the Jewish Antiquities (18.5.4).
