Mar 3, 2021 · St Mary Redcliffe and Temple School was founded in 1571 and still operates today, albeit next to the church rather than in a chapel on its grounds. The interior was completely refitted in Baroque style during the Queen Anne period: much of the original decoration had been destroyed during the Reformation and later the English Civil War.

St Mary Redcliffe and Temple School Sixth Form Centre is a specialist A Level centre, offering nearly 40 different options. We draw students from across Bristol and beyond with around two-thirds of our students joining us in Year 12 new to the school.
