Stanley Park was founded by Frank Stanley Beveridge in 1949. The park began on a 25-acre (100,000 m 2) plot, but now spans 300 acres (1.2 km 2) with multiple gardens, trails, and playing fields. It is a short walking distance from Westfield State University, located across Western Avenue to the northwest from Stanley Park.
Stanley park. This place is so beautiful. It is a nice place to go hiking and it is a great place to have family time and to spend the day. The playground is good for alll ages. This place good to hold parties and it is a great place to have a picnic.

This park is a local gem and as residents of Westfield we are very fortunate to have a fantastic park so readily available to us! The gardens, wildlife, trails all provide for the beautiful backdrop. Well worth a visit.
