Jun 20, 2023 · The STN Student Application Center will not be retired until a new "home" is found for the Choice Program. When the Student Application Center is ready to be retired, news and documentation will be provided by IDOE.
These documents are intended to help schools as they align their data and reporting practices with Data Exchange which will become the sole source of truth for data-related purposes in the 2021-22 school year. The IDOE anticipates retiring the STN Application Center in the 2022-23 school year. Audience
The 2021-2022 school year establishes Data Exchange as the source of truth for all data reporting. Specific instructions for parallel submission with the STN Application Center will be provided as needed. For the current school year, all SPN/STN should continue to be created in the STN Application Center.
