- Yankee Stadium. Whether you are a baseball fan or not, a trip to Yankee Stadium, home of the 27-time World Series champions, is sure to be a memorable experience.
- Bronx Zoo. The country's biggest urban zoo is a must-visit attraction for families and animal lovers. Located a short walk from the E. 180th St. subway station, the world-famous Bronx Zoo, run by the Wildlife Conservation Society, features more than 650 species.

The Bronx, often abbreviated as BX, and nicknamed "The Boogie Down", with a population of 1,472,654 (2020), is the only New York City borough on the mainland of the United States. It was originally part of Westchester County but was gradually annexed by New York City.
