Thomas Jefferson Brookshier (/ ˈ b r ʊ k ˌ ʃ aɪər /; December 16, 1931 – January 29, 2010) was an American professional football player, coach, and sportscaster. He was a starting defensive back for the Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League (NFL) for seven seasons, from 1953 to 1961.
