I was also waitlisted at UCI. Their waitlist acceptance rate (% of people accepted out of that accepting the waitlist offer) was 2.12%. That number will inevitably fall even lower this year as most schools (likely) waitlisted a lot more people. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
