Utaybah ibn Abī Lahab ( Arabic: عُتَيْبَة ابْنِ أَبِيّ لَهَب) in pre-Islamic Arabia, was the son of Abū Lahab. He planned to marry Muhammad 's third daughter Umm Kulthum, but canceled the engagement on his father's request. He was Muhammad's cousin.
