The Vancouver Seawall technically starts at Kits Beach and ends in Coal Harbour (or starts in Coal Harbour and ends in Kits Beach depending on which end you start from). Prospect Point Lighthouse
Continuing on from Siwash Rock, we approached the Prospect Poing Lighthouse. The lighthouse currently at Prospect Point was built in 1948, but the original wooden lighthouse at this location was built in the late 19th century, after a series of ship accidents. Just a few meters past the Prospect Point Lighthouse is the Lions Gate Bridge, which connects downtown Vancouver to West and North Vancouver.
Walking under the Lions Gate Bridge
The Lions Gate Bridge is about the halfway point when walking the seawall around Stanley Park. The Lions Gate Bridge, formerly known as the First Narrows was completed in 1938 and connects Downtown Vancouver to the North Shore. The seawall under the bridge is a popular photo opp, and bikers are required to dismount their bikes during this stretch of path. This area can get very congested in the summer and on weekends, but you get an amazing view of theNorth Shore, and can get some great shots.

No, the seawall is not difficult to walk. Walking the entire seawall around Stanley Park on average takes about 2 hours, but there are plenty of shortcuts along the way to shorten the time. The entirety of the seawall is also wheelchair and stroller accessible.
