In Lithuania, he held the title Didysis Kunigaikštis , translated as Grand Duke or Grand Prince ( kunigaikštis is a cognate of König and king , and didysis magnifies it).

But generally: Władysław II Jagiełło is remembered as the guy who won in Grunwald in 1410, but did not finish the Teutonic Knights properly - so they stayed a big problem for Poland. I think you are asking more if he is considered "pro-polish" or "pro-lithuanian", I think he was considered more pro-polish, but I am not a historian.

TIL Lithuania was the last country in Europe to convert to Christianity. And it didn't happen until 1387. A specific crusade in part of the Northern Crusades by the teutonic knights. It is interesting they weren't more well known. It was the last pagan country, not the last country (muslim ones)
