The O.K. Corral hearing and aftermath was the direct result of the 30-second Gunfight at the O.K. Corral in Tombstone, Arizona Territory, on October 26, 1881. During that confrontation, Deputy U.S. Marshal and Tombstone Town Marshal Virgil Earp, Assistant Town Marshal Morgan Earp, and temporary deputy marshals Wyatt Earp and Doc Holliday shot and killed Billy Clanton, and Tom and Frank McLaury.

Sep 5, 2006 · Morgan Earp was the most luckless of the six Earp brothers. He had almost died after being shot through the shoulders during the shootout near the O.K. Corral on October 26, 1881, allegedly by rustler Tom McLaury. Then, on the night of March 18-19 (Wyatt turned 33 on the 19th), Morgan was killed by a shot in the back while playing pool.
He is mentioned in several books about the Gunfight at the OK Corral. On October 26, 1881, Wes Fuller, a reported gambler and friends with members of the notorious outlaw gang called the Cowboys, was present at the gunfight at the OK Corral in Tombstone, AZ involving Wyatt Earp, his brothers and Doc Holiday against members of the Cowboys.
Oct 26, 2022 · Ike Clanton, Billy Claiborne, and Wes Fuller ran away from the fight. The battle actually occurred in a lot beside a photography studio six doors down from the entrance to the OK Corral. Although it became the most famous battle of the Wild West era, only thirty (30) bullets were fired within a thirty-second period.

The gunfight occurs on October 26, 1881, killing Tom McLaury, Frank McLaury and Billy Clanton. Virgil Earp, Morgan Earp, and Doc Holliday are wounded. Wyatt Earp is not injured in the shootout.
