If you’ve been sent a text that has a verification code for a Plenty of Fish account, it means someone has, hopefully accidentally, used your number to try and sign up for an account. Without the code you were texted, they won’t be able to register with your number.

You have a limited time to verify with the code, so make sure you have access to that phone as soon as you enter the number to verify. May 4, 2021 · When you start signing up, you’ll be hit with this lovely screen: Hit continue and you’re on your way! Next up you have your basic account info – username, name, email address, and password. Choosing your username can feel stressful but doesn’t have to be, just pick whatever pops into your head that feels fitting!
On your iPhone (not in the app) go to SETTINGS. Go to NOTIFICATIONS. In the list of apps, select Plenty of Fish. There, turn the "Alerts" on or off. On Android, follow these instructions: From any page in the app, tap the menu icon on the top right corner of the page (three vertical dots) or your device's menu button. Click SETTINGS.
