B99 isn't really a sitcom imo, it's why I find it refreshing. The focus just isn't on the romance, it's more the dynamic in the precinct. It meant to be funny and intelligent. Friends is about the friendship and the romance and the development. It's about feelings. When you watch it, you are meant to feel.
