Apr 3, 2024 · In accordance with Prince George's County law, all female pets MUST be spayed and all male pets neutered. Animals adopted out will be spayed/neutered before going home. If a medical condition prohibits spay/neuter at the time of adoption, a contract will be signed to bring the pet back for spay/neuter surgery at a later date.

We rescue exclusively from the Prince George’s County Animal Shelter. While thousands of animals are being euthanized in our county, we purposely choose not to import animals from other areas because the need is so great here. A highly trained intake coordinator screens and selects the animals we can save.
The Animal Service Facility invites you to visit the animals at the state-of-the-art Animal Services Facility. Lost animals and animals available for adoption can also be viewed through the website.
