  3. Jan 6, 2015 · Up until a few years ago, there wasn't a vehicle on the road that was equipped with a cabin air filter. I still really do not see the point. I doubt that it really filters the majority of the air coming into the "cabin", whether you have your windows closed or open. I figure that if the vehicle doesn't come equipped with it, leave it alone.
