It obviously has something to do with glaciers that slowly retreated which also formed the Fjords. But I don't understand why that effect impacted Scandinavia so much more than Russia, Alaska, Canada and Greenland. Canada has a lot of islands aswell, but even though it is a lot larger it doesn't even come close to the amount of Scandinavia.
