    • Balance. Balance is about distributing visual elements evenly across your design. It can be symmetrical (perfectly even) or asymmetrical (uneven but still visually balanced).
    • Color Theory. Colors evoke emotions and set the mood. Learn the basics of the color wheel, color harmony, and how to select the right color palette for your project.

Make lots of paintings implementing the design fundamentals using the same medium. You can’t find a style if you can’t master a medium.
