The Metal WikiProject was created on 19 February 2006, and helps to assemble editors interested in all subgenres of heavy metal music. The aim of this project is to standardize and improve articles related to metal and its sub-genres, as well as to create missing articles.
Goals [ edit] Spread the use of free images in Wikipedia. Since one of our pillars is to be as free as possible, by offering free alternatives to fair use images, we strengthen Wikipedia focus. Correct misinterpretations of free images.
