Focused Firepower is a scenario-driven World War II tabletop wargame designed to be played with 1/72 scale miniatures, although the system works just as well with 28mm (1/56) models. We have endeavoured to offer an in-depth game system with the focus on realism, but the system we have developed is easy to learn and games flow well.

Apr 17, 2024 · Bolt Action. Warlord Games’ flagship WW2 game Bolt Action will receive a “revised and updated third edition” later this year. The firm announced the new edition of its “best-selling” miniature wargame on Wednesday, promising a “big step” towards game rules so seamless that players hardly have to think about them at all.
The most common scale of miniature is arguably 28mm, though some popular games are played almost exclusively in 15mm. The best skirmish or platoon on platoon size games I've played are Bolt Action by Warlord Games and Chain of Command by TooFatLardies. The best company and above game I've played is Battlegroup by the Plastic Soldier Company.
