With McCabe's escape, the entire hospital becomes a battleground and Connor must pursue and, ironically, protect the deadly fugitive who is his son's only hope for survival. San Francisco police officer Frank Connor is in a frantic search for a compatible bone marrow donor for his gravely ill son.
A police officer needs a bone marrow donor for his son, who is a convicted murderer in jail. He must protect the fugitive from other inmates and the authorities.
"Desperate Measures" is, unfortunately, only masquerading as a thoughtful movie that's really about something. At heart, it's an action thriller--a chase picture.
