Fog is an American indie rock band from Minneapolis, Minnesota, formed in 1999. The band is fronted by Andrew Broder, [1] and for a time included Mark Erickson and Tim Glenn. After ending the project in 2008, Broder announced its return as a solo project in 2014.
Broder is a multi-genre artist whose work has radically shape-shifted over 2 decades plus. His collaborative work in recent years has honed and modernized his sound - polyrhythmic techno, atmospheric synths and an array of unidentifiable sound design gadgets collide with a gritty sample-based approach, still rooted in surprise and improvisation.
