The Ark is an American science fiction television series created by Dean Devlin, with Devlin and Jonathan Glassner serving as showrunners for the series. It premiered on Syfy on February 1, 2023, with the first season consisting of twelve episodes.
Follows the remaining crew of a spacecraft known as Ark One, who must become the best versions of themselves to stay on course and survive after experiencing a catastrophic event that caused massive destruction and loss of life.
The Ark takes place 100 years in the future when planetary colonization missions have begun as a necessity to help secure the survival of the human race. In Season 2, after the brave crew of Ark One reaches their destination and finds it uninhabitable, they must survive long enough to locate a new home for themselves and all the ships that follow.
S1.E1 ∙ Everyone Wanted to Be on This Ship. The surviving crew assess the damage to the ship and make work assignments based on the remaining talent. A leadership committee is assembled, and work started to bolster life support.
