Farscape: Created by Rockne S. O'Bannon. With Ben Browder, Claudia Black, Anthony Simcoe, Lani John Tupu. Thrown into a distant part of the universe, an Earth astronaut finds himself part of a fugitive alien starship crew.
Farscape first ran on the Australian TV Channel Nine Network and the Canadian YTV channel, then in the US on the Sci-Fi Channel and on BBC Two in the United Kingdom. The series' original broadcast on Sci-Fi was noted for its erratic scheduling, with hiatuses lasting months often occurring mid-season.
Farscape is a science fiction television show. Four regular seasons were produced, from 1999 to 2003. Each season consists of 22 episodes. Each episode is intended to air in a one-hour television timeslot (with commercials), and runs for 44 to 50 minutes.
