Odin tells the story of how his father, Bor, fought against the Dark Elves.Every five-thousand years a cosmic event, called the Convergence, causes the Nine Realms to become aligned, and Malekith, the leader of the Dark Elves, planned to use this event and release the Aether, a relic from before the universe, to plunge the Nine Realms back into darkness.
Eons ago, Bor (Tony Curran), father of Odin (Anthony Hopkins), clashes with the Dark Elf Malekith (Christopher Eccleston), who seeks to destroy the universe using a weapon known as the Aether.
