Nov 23, 2019 · LOS ANGELES (AP) — Longtime producer and director Arthur Marks, who helmed many episodes of the “Perry Mason” TV series and produced several hit blaxploitation films, died at age 92. Marks passed away Nov. 13 at his home in Woodland Hills, California, his son Paul said Saturday.
However, it was in the 1950s that his career really took off: He was an assistant director for the TV shows Broken Arrow (1956), The 20th Century-Fox Hour (1955) and Treasury Men in Action (1950) and worked on the immensely popular Perry Mason (1957) TV series as both a producer and director.
