Jun 30, 2017 · The Living Room Theatre, the imaginative company that works out of a funky warehouse-like building near 18th and McGee, is cruising into the final show of its seventh season.
It's more of a blackbox style theater, four rows of living room furniture arranged so that every seat has a good view of the action. Some of the seats were the glorious, sit-down-and-sink-in type but others were the mashed-down-and-feels-like-thin-cardboard type.

In March of 2020, The Living Room Theatre moved from its original 1818 McGee location to The Black Box in the West Bottoms, where it has happily resumed premiering ground-breaking work with the KC theatre community!
