    This salmon is delicious hot, cold or room temperature. The horseradish flavor mellows when cooked and the dish is great served at brunch with pickled cucumber and onion on the side, or at dinner with wild rice flavored with dried fruit and nuts and a caesar salad. As simple as it is, this is a wonderful, elegant holiday dish - easily made ahead and beautiful when presented whole on a bed of baby spinach.     The only valid reasons for which I'll make this dressing is for it to be a condiment on a Reuben sandwich or slow-cooked brats/butcher sausages. I am totally a fan of Reubens. This recipe is my own take and I call it my favorite over every Reuben I have had. For me, a Reuben must be made from a cooked-at-home corned beef brisket or real New York-style pastrami. If either of these staples is not available, I will not consider making a Reuben. When it's time to slice the corned beef I don't let myself be sissified. I cut nice slices about 1/4-inch thick. I leave the fat on.

This is my mother's recipe. She makes it for our Christmas dinner every year. The biggest challenge is calculating the cooking time so that the meat is ready when you are.     Finally, I finally found a winning recipe for meatloaf and you wont believe the ingredient list! This meatloaf is on the sweet side...contains 1 tsp of brown sugar in both the loaf and the topping...so skip this one if that doesn't appeal to you...or try it anyway to see if you like the moist texture and skip the sugar. I am mostly posting this so I don't forget how I made it next time we get the taste for meatloaf...but maybe somebody out there has been looking for a filling, moist meatloaf and wants to give this a try! I LOVED the addition of the pasta in this meatloaf and from now on, even if I try a new meatloaf recipe, I'm going to add the pasta...it just made it the perfect texture for me. Maybe you will like it too! This meatloaf is very moist and flavorful. Despite the amount of bbq sauce in the loaf, we don't feel it is an overwhelming flavor after cooking. It doesn't cut as cleanly as some, but who cares when it tastes this good? Just use a narrow spatula to get the cut slices out of the pan. To eleminate any issue with cutting and to cut down on the prep time, just use a mini muffin pan instead.

    I use this recipe for marinara sauce as a base for all my pasta dishes. You can use the sauce 'as is' for a meatless spaghetti sauce. Or you can add just about any meat or seafood to add variety to your meals. In addition, you can add kidney beans and your favorite ingredients to make a super chili. My kids eat this pasta sauce like no other. They are happy campers when the house is filled with the aroma as this sauce is cooking.

    I posted this recipe for the glaze. It will work on any size ham, but cooking times will vary depending on the size and how you like to cook your ham. It is a thick, rich glaze. I only use the water packaged with the ham when I make it.
