While I enjoyed Winnie the Pooh and Princess and the Frog, this is hardly the death of hand drawn animation. Disney has't made many quality animated films in a while. I'm willing to bet most people mourning this haven't given some of the following recent films a try: Persepolis (2007) Waltz with Bashir (2008) The Secret of Kells (2009)
