Eren Ozker (July 25, 1948 - February 25, 1993) was a puppeteer on The Muppet Show during the first season. She most notably originated the characters of Wanda and Hilda, and performed Janice, who had initially been performed by Fran Brill (the role would eventually go to Richard Hunt).
Of her three main characters, only Janice survived after Ozker left the show at the end of the first season. Janice was subsequently performed by Richard Hunt, Matt Vogel, Brian Henson, Tyler Bunch and, most recently, David Rudman.

Janice was originally performed by Fran Brill in The Muppet Show: Sex and Violence pilot in 1975, and in the first set of Muppet Meeting Films. Eren Ozker performed Janice in the first season of The Muppet Show. Richard Hunt took over the character in season two, and gave Janice her familiar Valley girl voice and attitude.
Feb 25, 2007 · Eren Ozker joined the Muppet crew in the 70's and performed in the first season of The Muppet Show back in '76. I loved all of her characters on the show: Hilda, Wanda, various whatnots, and even her Janice was pretty good.
