Feb 17, 2022 · Is the Atlantis Bahamas Resort Worth It? To be honest, my main complaint against the Atlantis Bahamas is the lack of character. Maybe this has to do with the size, but it feels like a giant resort, plopped on a random island because it is is easy to get there from the East Coast of the United States.

Pros. This iconic pink megaresort is the hub of the Atlantis complex. Beautiful beach setting on Paradise Island. Free (and easy) access to Aquaventure and marine exhibits. Central location for accessing resort highlights. 11 pools to choose from -- the closest being the Royal Baths.

Our family had been wanting to visit Atlantis for years and we finally saved up enough to visit this world-famous resort. We were so excited to stay at this well-known resort and experience all the waterslides and pools.
